PICTURE":

I really liked it. I had fun rewatching some older videos of the saga, but rearranged in a feature long version. I think this was a realy good idea to capitalize on already produced material that can be made into a long format video. All the stories really work well in a continuum. It's quite amazing that
Carmen
Porta managed to mantain character consistency despite the story being filmed over a number of different years.
Carmen
plays her role quote seriously. Gia Diablo embraces the
campiness, and has a blast playing the major villainess of the series. Both are fun to watch for those very reasons. In this movie, Supergurl faces many different and colorful adversaries, and if there is one thing that is quite appealing is the prospect of watching
Carmen
fighting others and being punched for nearly 100 minutes, with interruptions for plot and dialogue, of course. One interesting thing I noticed in the story is that the villain Supergurl faces who almost got her killed (the one who actually presented the biggest threat) was also the most ineffectual: The thief in the begining whose actions kick off the plot. He begins like an idiot who, after robbing an important secret substance, first asks Lux Luthur for a ransom of 10 million dollars in cash, which is hilarious considering that such an amount - even as $1,000 dollar bills - would weight about 10 to 20 tons in US paper currency. This guy then demonstrates again a profound failure at strategic thinking when he thinks it's a good idea to face off against Supergurl - with gunshots or even punches - when he actually knows who she is, instead of, you know, talking his way out of the situation or simply
skedaddling.
For his stupidity, he gets a deserved shellacking, with Supergurl throwing him around like a ragdoll and making short work of him. But then Supergurl decides to take a bite of the stupid pie and opens the safe, exposing herself to kryptonite, which is no big surpise that this is what was kept inside all along. The thief compensates for his lack of strategic thinking with smart pragmatism, and takes advantage of Supergurl's weakened state by giving her a good short beating, and almost shot her dead. But fate intervenes and, of course, this being still only the first 10 minutes of the movie, it's no surprise she survived.
The story then takes a turn for the more epic and comic book nature as we are introduced to what has to be the most beefed up version of Lux Luthur yet, and a powerful villain who was hidden in plain sight by pretending to be a dufus human, but who in reality is another kryptonian with powers equivalent to
Supergurl. After this, "Her Prettiness" Supergurl engages in fights against other pretty female adversaries, and this is where the saga goes full on Fem/Fem combat, for our pleasure.
If anything, the only complaint I have is that this movie is not 3 hours long! In the end, Supergurl faces another male adversary, the true matermind behind all of this, up to the final twist.
If you enjoy FG2K productions, and if you like the idea of a feature length FG2K video starring one of it's most popular performers in one of her most popular roles, this is the thing for you.
