Just finished watching this new FG2K video.
Somewhere in the bleak mid-winter landspace in a rural area, the spunky wife of a chinese fighter
(one that I never heard of... Jet Li was too on the nose I guess) is kidnapped for ransom.
But the victim is more than meets the eye, far from a defenseless damsel, and she makes the kidnapper regret ruining her day.
The video is another variation of the "RANSOM" series narrative formula.
I use the expression "formula" in a favorable way, because this is what we
have come to expect and love. The wife is played by new star Lola Elita and
is kidnapped by the always dependable and talented Stevie
Fox. And they deliver. Oh yes they do. What else to expect?
I am at a dilemma regarding this video. The two girls are such believable badasses, it's hard for me to believe
either of them would lose a fight against anybody, unless victims of some underhanded treachery.
What I mean to say is, these two are Girlz I love to see winning fights.
And I think Stevie
is such a doll-faced girl it's hard for me to take her as a viilain.
Here's to more videos with them where each kicks ass and take names on other adversaries.
These Girlz are made to win.

Wonderful video as always!
I would love to see a return of the 'MASSACRE' series with the lovely
Stevie at the receiving end of a brutal beating!
A big/strong girl delivering ground pounds and beating her face without mercy!
Great to see you guys are back!

This release will do nicely for anyone who, like me, find
the 'RANSOM'
series fun. E.g., you can always be certain that the hostage, invariably so far a she, will free herself and that then the showdown begins.
After the opening footage, we get straight to the kidnapper (Stevie
Fox) driving her hapless tied up hostage (Lola
Elita) to the hideaway. The kidnapper arrives at the rendezvous house from where she can telephone her ransom
demands. Lola
may be smaller than Stevie, but she gives her captor as good as she gets.
Stevie is the more experienced player and it's her punches which look the weightier.
Even so, Lola, a welcome newcomer in her early twenties in her third appearance, is steadily improving and gives her most enticing performance to date.
I shan't reveal whether the kidnapper gets her money or not. We are treated to a bearhug scene, which always
is helpful to giving us a breather (if not to the victim!) as well as adding to the appeal of these beautifully filmed intimate tussles invoving punching, kicking and wrestling with thankfully no recourse to weapons.
It's that, and the fact that it's mainly all, or at least one, of the
FightGirlz taking part, which keeps me being an ongoing fan.

@George: I disagee with you,
my friend. Stevie was born to
deliver beatdown to others, not the receive them.
Unless she allows herself to grow her hair very long (long story).
@Max:
Good to see you again, the
perennial FG2K video commenter. One thing I disagree with you on, my friend, is about the wrestling moments.
I find them utterly boring and always skip them. I find wrestling fighting to be boring and static, where nothing is truly happening, visually and dramatically speaking.
I far prefer brawls and the punching fights moments, they are full of movement, dynamic, visually interesting especially
if the girls have long and lose hair. Wrestling moves like bearhugs and whatnot for me stop the video, don't reprise them.
I could watch a full video of nothing but punches to the face and I would never be bored.

That little woman put up a helluva good fight.

I agree about showing plenty of movement, e.g. punching to face and stomach, kicking and karate blows, but I think other factors such as location and the various (brief) build ups to a showdown with witty trash putdowns help to give an episode an identity beyond.
More variety in what the Girlz (and guys?) wear is a plus in my book and I like seeing the odd
Catwoman/Supergurl departure too.
I'm not a fan of frenetic unbroken action as a rule (an exception for me being the one where
Aria Martinez is increasingly merciless to a guy in the second half of
"THE
CROWN V"). I can watch a wrestle to the ground only if it's brief or genuinely varied.
Sorry, I enjoy a sexy bearhug (girl-girl or girl-guy) once in a while, and from several viewers comments others do too.
Even so, it shouldn't last longer though than about 20 seconds in my opinion.
