Scarlet's "I know the address" detective Miller may not be the sharpest on the block (we see her wagon driving both directions on the highway and missing the turning twice apparently) but she ain't to be messed with.
"Moonshiner" episodes have at least three attractions for me. Each time we are rewarded by a deliciously droll representation of one of the wayward liquor-hoarding Clampett clan, and here as always
Carmen guarantees that her version is one of the funniest.
We are further practically guaranteed that each law-enforcing challenger will be tough, throws their badge aside and that rugged to and fro action ensues entirely outdoors (in a representation Harlan County ) in sunshine.
With John Connor's characteristically spritely direction and writing complementing,
Carmen again reveals what a nifty mover she is and packs no mean punch, though new girl
Scarlet
can match her plenty, and sometimes more than that.
Once again, Clampett 'gets clamped' into appealing helplessness by the bearhug treatment and tossed like a rag doll.
Bluegrass style music pops up and accompanies the fast action perfectly without intruding.
Great fun. It's not uncommon for Carmen to feature sizeably in amusing, good-humored bloopers.
It's interesting to note that she shows her dedication by remaining pretty well in character despite.
