Reeves plays a woman who has been brewing up anger toward her boyfriend during a work function in which he embarrasses her as her plus one in front of her co-workers. The anger morphs into fury during the cab ride home, and once they arrive, he knows he's in the doghouse. There, all of her fury is released when she finds a very "productive" way for him to make it up to her. With each jarring blow, he realizes she means business, as she refuses to stop until she senses complete submission from him.

may look like a placid little woman, but appearances are deceiving.
She is financially independent and going up in the world and concludes that her slobby boyfriend is not only using her as a meal ticket but could be holding her back.
With this longstanding simmering fury within now unleashed, she really works him over.
Carmen illustrates boyfriend-bashing girl-power with a vengeance.
So he had it coming it seems (I wondered however about why she objected to his "long" hair.
It's more unassuming than what you see Steve Garrett's partner Danno has, and which I found to be an occasional irritant, in the new Hawaii Five-0 series, but that's another
story...).
